How to Make Small Business Dreams Come True
December 27, 2011 on 6:33 pm | In Dream Come True, Musings | No CommentsNowadays more people than ever dream of starting their own businesses. May do start them. but making their dreams come true seems to get harder every day.
Is it just too hard to compete with the deep pockets of big corporations to get attention for new businesses? It can be hard, but there are ways to get more advertising for the dollars spent. All you have to do is know about them.
You have seen ads along the edges of—and sometimes in the middle of—web pages and blogs. Most are expensive, purchase through Google, Yahoo, or other big search engines. Small businesses often cannot afford to use them—or do not know how to use them effectively. But there is an alternative.
Businesses of any size can use a pay-per-click agency like BuzzClick that makes it affordable for companies to advertise in their national network or get paid for showing ads on their sites. An ideal combination is to both place and accept ads, which can save money by allowing the business to defray some ad costs by selling some ads on their own website.
To make it easy, BuzzClick offers professional support 24 hours, 7 days a week, a personal manager assigned to each client, and tools for creating ad campaigns. They also have one of the fastest XML feeds to display ads rapidly.
BuzzClick’s FiSoAp traffic-ranking system helps clients select the best traffic sources of customers for their business. It helps clients manage ad offers to avoid chargebacks and attract the highest bids. It even offers a loyalty program to its client community.
Can an Internet ad agency help make your company’s dreams of success come true? Try it and see for yourself.
May all your dreams of success come true in 2012!
Empty Nest

Our youngest daughter is moving out of our house at the end of this year and my husband and I are so excited. We love our kids and all, but it’s going to be really nice to finally be alone again. We’re hoping that after all these years of raising children and making sure they are taken care of, we can finally do something for ourselves. We really want to start saving so that we can take some nice vacations. We don’t want to move into a smaller home just yet, since the housing market is so bad and we know we won’t get a great price for our home. One of the first things we did was check out Gexa power prices to see if we could save some money there. We’ve also been doing more shopping online so that we can get the best deals on household goods. I’ve also been cutting coupons for groceries. Hopefully with all these efforts combined we’ll be able to save a good amount of money this year for a cool vacation. We’re so looking forward to taking some time without the kids!
Helping Children (and Parents) Achieve Their Dreams
December 27, 2011 on 9:46 am | In Dream Come True, Dream Types, Future Dreams, Musings | No CommentsChildren often have seemingly grandiose dreams for the future. They may dream them at night or they may imagine them after seeing a movie or TV show or hearing others talk about them.
Often such dreams seem fanciful or unrealistic. A weak math student dreams of being an architect or scientist. A poor reader wants to create movies or write TV series. But do not dismiss them out of hand.
These children may have amazing vision and imagination. But they will clearly need a great deal of help in achieving their dreams. Can you help them reach goals they do not seem naturally prepared for? Yes, you can. But not just by encouraging “positive thinking and perseverance.”
Master teachers have created teaching strategies that help children improve weak academic areas and more quickly absorb new ones. Teachers can enhance their skills and parents can learn to help their children learn better and faster with programs from Mentoring Minds.
Learning problems often are not a matter of memory or facts. True learning is based on critical thinking, as described by Bloom, Englehart, Furst, Hill, and Krathwohl in 1956.
Mentoring Minds uses the Bloom method to create programs and teaching tools to help children learn critical thinking so that they learn more efficiently. That is the skill all children need to achieve their dreams of the future. A Research tab on the Mentoring Minds website explains the research behind the Mentoring Minds products.
These strategies for teaching math, for example, can also be used by knowledgeable parents to help children at home. The Mentoring minds store offers a host of subject-teaching products and critical thinking aids for several important subject areas, including such mainstays as reading, science, math, vocabulary, English and Spanish, as well as teaching tools for teachers, such as classroom management, flip charts, common core standards, and card sets, which can be useful for parents as well.
These are solid, well-researched, proven strategies for building a firm foundation under children’s dreams. If you are willing to take action and work with children to help them learn what they need to know, you can help make their dreams come true.

Taking Action to Make Your Dreams Come True
December 13, 2011 on 3:18 pm | In Musings | No CommentsThere are many ways to make your dreams come true. All the ones that really work require taking some sort of action.
Over 2700 people a day sign up for online college courses. Most are working adults, looking to advance their existing careers. In other words, they are taking the steps to make their dreams come true.
Studying at online colleges costs slightly more than the tuition for brick-and-mortar colleges, averaging a little over 5 percent more, but students may still actually save money while pursuing their dreams on line. Cost savings include, for example, transportation costs, being able to live at home or wherever you want, and not having to move or give up your existing job.
Most appealing to some students is the advantage of being able to take classes on their own schedule, even attending class while sitting in bed, wearing pajamas if they want to. All those factors have to be added in to consider the true cost of the dream of going to college. Continue reading Taking Action to Make Your Dreams Come True…
The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep
December 12, 2011 on 4:57 am | In Dreamwork | No Comments“If we cannot carry our practice into sleep,” Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche writes, “if we lose ourselves every night, what chance do we have to be aware when death comes? Look to your experience in dreams to know how you will fare in death. Look to your experience of sleep to discover whether or not you are truly awake.”This book gives detailed instruction for dream yoga, including foundational practices done during the day. In the Tibetan tradition, the ability to dream lucidly is not an end in itself, rather it provides an additional context in which one can engage in advanced and effective practices to achieve liberation.Dream yoga is followed by sleep yoga, also known as the yoga of clear light. It is a more advanced practice, similar to the most secret Tibetan practices. The goal is to remain awake during deep sleep when the gross conceptual mind and the operation of the senses cease. Most Westerners do not even consider this depth of awareness a possibility, yet it is well known in Ti
Understanding the Dreams You Dream Revised and Expanded
December 8, 2011 on 4:57 am | In Dreamwork | No CommentsGod frequently talks through dreams. The Bible reveals that in the past, dreams were the most common way God talked to His people. The people in the Bible communicated with God through prayer, and He answered them in dreams. God does not change, neither has the way He communicates with His children. Unlike the early Christians, today’s believers often treat dreams like junk mail. In doing so, they often throw away the very answers they asked for when they prayed for counsel and guidance. Understanding the Dreams You Dream is written from a Christian perspective to help Christians understand the symbolic language of dreams. Deliberately written without technical jargon, this book can be easily understand and used by everyone. It is the only complete, one-volume Christian reference book for interpreting dreams on the market today.
