As C.G. Jung wrote and taught, our subconscious mind communicates with us via dreams and dreamlike images, including artistic expressions (such as drawing our own mandalas) and dreamlike images—even just with images and words that catch our eye during the day. Really good fortunetellers, like good Jungian psychotherapists, can pick up on those images in various ways.

Some would say that a good fortuneteller reads your aura (or reads your mind or subconscious mind) just as a good therapist listens not only to what you say but also to what is implied in what you say, and do not say, and how you express it.

Others would say that the very best fortunetellers get information for you from a higher metaphysical level, what C.G. Jung referred to as the transpersonal level. That is, they may get information from the dimension in which all human consciousness is said to be connected.

Many of us are not totally aware of all that we know. We have subconscious knowledge that—for whatever reason—we do not acknowledge consciously. A good fortuneteller can really help with that.

A really superb fortuneteller can often provide uncannily accurate information that we could not possibly have known ourselves, as subsequent events may prove to us.

One thing that I seldom hear people discuss about fortunetellers is that they also receive their information, the information that they give us, as dreamlike images. One of the things that makes a good fortuneteller or psychic is the ability to interpret those dreamlike images on our behalf.

Another valuable trait of a good fortuneteller is knowing when to share such images with us directly, allowing us to get in touch with such images ourselves, providing further insight that we can draw for ourselves. So often a good reading by a professional fortuneteller continues to provide insights as events and relationships develop, and we more and more understand the dreamlike images they provide for us.

In a way, a fortuneteller dreams on behalf of their client and then shares and interprets the dream images with the client. That makes it so interesting and valuable to chat live with a psychic.

Why not give it a try? Just be sure to write down all those predictions, especially the images (visual and words and phrases) in your dream journal, so you can continue to study them for additional insights.

Introduction

Here are some significant prophetic dreams that came on April 30th 2011. I relate some earlier dreams to give some background and understanding of the dreams.

My dream February 16, 2011

On the 16 of February 2011 I had a short dream. I saw myself in the presence of two old wise men and we were standing in a theatre with many seats arranging in step format upwards from the front toward the back of the hall. All these seats were empty. The one old wise man said to me, “Trust God to fill these seats.” Then the other wise man asked me, “What do you want to do?” I replied, “I want to start a school of the prophets.” He said, “Wonderful, do it, it is a good idea.” Then I woke up.

Oleg’s account of his dream: April 27, 2011

On April 27, 2011 I had the following dream: I dreamt I looked at a calendar. I saw that all future dates, the 30th of each month, were standing out. Then I knew in my spirit that in future the 30th of every month will be significant in that God will give us an unfolding revelation of events to come. I knew in the dream that all these “events” or dreams or revelations received from God on every 30th of each month will have a link with one another.

I do not know for what period of time these “events” and/or dreams must be followed. Only time can tell me the truth. Also, I do not know what to look for. Will it be in the news or in a dream or vision or in revelation? I do not know. However my father told me he believes that God will speak to us in dreams. Nevertheless, I will not limit God to just dreams or visions.

April 30, 2011

On this day my son Oleg had two dreams and my wife Marina had one dream.

Oleg’s account of his first dream

I saw myself in a black village in Zimbabwe. I dreamt a climate change has taken place in Zimbabwe. I saw a great black cloud, a great storm with much lightning in the black cloud coming to the black village. I knew that due to pending danger nobody should go to that black village. I was contacted by meteorologists who investigate weather patterns in Zimbabwe to investigate with them the weather phenomena. They told me the details but I did not understand them because I know nothing about meteorology. I saw a meteorology laboratory with a tower on top of the roof. I saw the lightning was hitting the tower all the time which transferred the power into a capsule in the laboratory which burned like red-orange lava (magma) caused by the transferred lightning power. I saw a white woman the only European that was staying in the black village. That was the end of my dream.

Andre Niemand’s (BrotherEnoch) Interpretation

Zimbabwe symbolizes a once prosperous country that was destroyed by incompetency and violence. The black village symbolizes the Republic of South Africa under a black government. The storm is in Zimbabwe heading for the village. The same forces that destroyed Zimbabwe are already raging and seemed to be on its way to destroy South Africa like it had destroyed Zimbabwe. In the early 1990′s God told me (almost in an audible voice), “The blacks are going to destroy this whole country but not everything.” To this day I do not understand what God meant when He said, “but not everything.” The lightning is judgment from heaven. The capsule that burned like red-orange (fiery) lava is hidden black anger that is raging. God will use the anger of the black youth to judge the country. Lava is molten rock that is buildup under the surface of the earth. The white woman may symbolize the white people or missionary communities.

Andre Niemand’s Comments

I want to refer to Julius Malema’s (the African National Congress’ youth league president) hate speeches and open inflammatory addresses and suggestions of murdering white people. It is the lava buildup under the surface. Occurrences like this among others will bring about the “climate change and storm.”

We need to humble ourselves in repentance on behalf of the country and also humble ourselves constantly in intercession and prayer before God and I believe He will hear us.

Oleg’s account of his second dream

I dreamt I was in a class room with people of different religious backgrounds (Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, etc.). We have to complete forms about our religious background for security agents but in my spirit I knew these agents were FBI agents. Everyone was completing a form except me. A few FBI agents were interviewing me and they were completing my form, a questionnaire, on my behalf. A young man I know told me that he was from the Orthodox Church. I told him my back ground was also Orthodox. I grew up in the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine during the first half of my youth. I spoke to these Agents very boldly but I did not talk about religion. A woman that was also completing her form was asking me if I was rich or has much authority in life or was in a family with great influence because of my boldness. I told her I was not rich or influential but I told her, “I am poor.” That was the end of my dream.

Andre Niemand’s Interpretation

I believe this dream reveals what will happen in the USA shortly and most probably world-wide. The FBI will make profiles of Christian leaders (A woman that was also completing her form was asking me if I was rich or has much authority in life or was in a family with great influence because of my boldness. I told her I was not rich or influential but I told her, “I am poor.”). Some Church leaders will even be interrogated (Everybody was completing these forms except me. A few FBI agents were interviewing me and they were completing my form, a questionnaire, on my behalf). These profiles will be extended to everybody in the USA and/or abroad (We have to complete forms about our religious background for security agents but in my spirit I knew these agents were FBI agents.). This may be used in the persecution of Christians.

Marina’s account of her dream

I dreamt I was walking through a desert and felt lonely. I saw a few baboons. They were all suspicious of me. As they passed me they were keeping their distance. I did not know if they could harm me or if they will harm me and in what manner they could harm me. I was afraid to be alone in the desert. I do not know what could happen to me. There was one baboon close to me. I felt his animosity. In an attempt to change his animosity to some measure of friendliness I found a sweet in my pocket and put it on the sand for him to eat. He picked up the sweet and ate it. It seemed if he enjoyed it. Then I found some nuts in my pocket and thought it is natural food for baboons, he will enjoy it even more. I put the nuts in front of him that he may eat it. He did not touch the nuts but he seemed only interested in the sweets. Then he moved away from me as if he wants to leave. I found another sweet in my pocket and put it on the sand again. He came and picked it up and then he left. I did this “investment of giving him sweets” in hope that future encounters with baboons will be safe. That was the end of my dream.

Andre Niemand’s Interpretation

I believe this dream may reveal the spirit of Oleg’s first dream; the spirit behind the unrest. The desert refers to testing times. A baboon normally symbolizes rebellion but the dream suggests the Holy Spirit emphasizes suspicion and animosity, which are other characteristics of a baboon. The protestors want what is nice (sweets) for them and not what is good (nuts) for them. They have the country but it seems not enough, they want to destroy and plunder for their own selfish reasons. I do not really know. This dream points to uncertainty of possible danger (I was afraid to be alone in the desert. I do not know what could happen to me).

Andre Niemand’s Comments

I see two pictures unfolding the one internationally and the other nationally. We will have to wait for future revelation to see how the picture will unfold and eventually the whole picture. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little and there a little (Isaiah 28:10).

Angie’s dream

I dreamt I knew someone who had inside knowledge every time the heads of the Illuminati met. She would feed the information to me and I would pray accordingly. Unfortunately, they figured out what I was doing and they would try to kill me. I would then plead the blood and become invisible to them. They would become agitated every time I mentioned the blood.

I dreamt about the end of the world. It started with violence on the earth: buildings were being blown up with bombs by terrorists; men and women were living immoral lives. I then saw how the things of this world would just start burning up in flames. We all ran away to Shiloh – it was the only safe place.

Shiloh (Hebrew: tranquility; place of rest) was a town of the Ephramites, situated on a mountain to the north of Bethel, where the holy tabernacle was set for a time (Joshua 18:1). Samuel the prophet grew up in the House of the Lord in Shiloh. The Lord revealed Himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the Word of the Lord (Joshua 3:21). Samuel the prophet of the Lord presided over the School of the Prophets in Shiloh.

Shiloh refers to the place where the prophetic word reigned. It also refers to the obedience of faith in God to enter into the rest of the Lord.

I dreamt last night that it was the end of the world and our whole family got together in one place for safety, because the whole world was in chaos.

Scientists say that the brain receives stimuli from many different sources all day long. There are far too many stimuli for it to process, so the mind prioritizes the stimuli and makes you aware of those that need immediate attention (the crying baby, the out-of-control car, your boss’s request), so that you can react appropriately. The stimuli that you are not consciously aware of are alos noted by the brain, but are stored in the brain at a subconscious level (the drip of a water faucet, the remark by a coworker at the coffee machine while you were on the telephone.)

Meanwhile, you feel emotions all day. Some you acknowledge and act on (as when you automatically say thank you and smile when you are complimented). Some you repress or do not allow yourself to act on. For example, you don’t punch your boss in the nose when he tells you the report you worked on for a week is no longer needed.)

Some traumatic experiences may be so emotionally painful that you refuse to experience them at the time. Instead you send them deep into your subconscious (repression.)

In addition to processing all these emotions and stimuli the brain every day, your brain also keeps your body functioning. It remembers names and faces. It enables you to talk and walk and chew gum (sometimes all at the same time). And it controls or enables many other activities that you take for granted. You must admit — that’s a lot to do. 

At night, when your body must rest, your mind continues working.  When it is no longer being used to type letters and do the grocery shopping, the brain processes all of those subconscious stimuli and emotions (while still maintaining body temperature and breathing, and so on). Scientists say that is why we dream. 

Only you are not awake to receive the signals at a conscious level. You cannot hear or see or touch (at a conscious level) while you are sleeping. The brain must resort to other means to get the signals through to your conscious mind. Supposedly that is why we dream the way we do.

The mind uses everything at its disposal (which is everything it has ever been exposed to) to get the message across. Dreaming is the minds way of processing all of the stimuli and emotions it has received during the day or repressed over time, so that you can act on them.

All in all, it’s a pretty neat system. But unless you are remembering and making sense of your dreams, you are missing countless opportunities to learn about yourself and experience life to its fullest.

Even though we’ve mentioned it before, it is important enough to repeat: Why should you try and remember your dreams? Because they contain important messages from your won subconscious mind to yourself. Dreams can tell you important things that your waking mind may have overlooked.

Respect your dreams as the tremendous resource for knowledge that they are. And pay attention. You may learn something incredibly valuable from your own dreams.

Car dreams can be scary. And they can have a lot of meanings. For example, if you are obsessed with getting a new car, you may dream about them at night. That much is obvious.

But some automobile dreams are puzzling. What caused them is not clear, and you may start thinking that they are premonitions of disaster. But their meaning may not be so simple.

Some people dream of car crashes. Those could be warnings. But if there has been a rash of spectacular wrecks on TV news, we may write off the whole idea. Still it is good to be extra careful when driving anytime.

Dreaming of a malfunctioning car, though, may have very different meanings: metaphor for the body, business or relationships; automobile malfunctions not yet consciously noticed, or…?

Car as metaphor for the body. Your car is your vehicle—-and so is your body. Pay attention to such dreams carefully. They can be warnings about the state of your health.

Car as metaphor for a marriage. I used to dream that I was in the backseat of a speeding car—-and no one was driving. That was during a bad marriage that was lacking in partnership. My spouse was driving our lives recklessly forward with no input from me—and no apparent plan. It was scary.

Car as a metaphor for business or career. Just as we sometimes know there is something wrong with our body or relationships but ignore the signs, we may also miss signs of problems in our company or career. Malfunctioning car dreams may be the tipoff.

Car malfunction as a subliminal perception. Some of us are very aware of our cars on an unconscious level but do not consciously pay enough attention to keeping them in good repair. As Freud said, when speaking of metaphors in dreams, ” Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.”

If the brakes are wearing out, the tires are a tiny bit lumpy (indicating dangerous wear), or the engine is running rough or using too much gasoline, part of your mind registers that. And dreams are when our unconscious minds have the best chance of communicating with us. So you may be warning yourself to get your car checked before you have a wreck or get stranded somewhere because of a breakdown.

So before you start worrying that your dream of a sputtering engine means that the love of your life is about to leave you, or that the rusty car dream means you could have cancer, check on the obvious. Take care of any car repairs you have been putting off—before they get worse.

The peace of mind is well worth the time and trouble. Once you know your car is safe, you can sleep better—and concentrate on figuring out what your sputtering car dreams mean—-if you still have them. With the car fixed, the troubling car dreams may very well stop.

To ease your mind about finding a good mechanic, take practical steps. Go to the Repair Pal website to find customer reviews and ratings for mechanics and repair shops in your local area, with a list of services and specializations for each one.

So for Chicago auto repair, for example, you can find out which mechanics in your neighborhood specialize in your type of car, such as Toyota Corolla, and other information, such as, for example, why you may need a new water pump.

So if you are having scary car dreams, check it out. It will help you sleep better.

People talk a lot about dreams. Usually they don’t specify clearly what types of dreams they are talking about. There isn’t just one kind, or even two (good or bad. There are many kinds of dreams, and to be able to make sense when discussing dreams, we ought to define them.

Processing Dreams

Many people have been convinced that all dreams are just the body’s way of processing memories and experiences. In fact, that is a large category of dreams.

Sorting out our thoughts, experiences and ideas does seem to be one important purpose of dreaming.

Anxiety Dreams

Anxiety dreams are not exactly nightmares (usually), but they are unpleasant. They express our worries about things that may or may not ever happen. In some cases, anxiety dreams may be a way of preparing to deal with difficult situations. In others, they may be a symptom that we need to learn how to handle stress better—and maybe drink less caffeine?

Prophetic Dreams

People who consistently keep dream journals find that they often have prophetic dreams. Sometimes the dreams are quite trivial. Other times they prepare us for events we cannot prevent or prepare us for tragedies that we can avert by being ready.

Because of a prophetic dream (also called a precognitive dream), we have had a chance to think of what we would do, the shock has worn off, and when the event happens, we are calm enough to take action that can save lives or prevent serious injury. 

Clairvoyant Dreams

People over the centuries have witnessed events happening elsewhere, even thousands of miles away, in their dreams. There are records of people dreaming of plane crashes and natural disasters, recording the dreams, sometimes putting the dreams into official records, and then receiving verification via the news media.

Communication Dreams

People all over the world have experienced dreams of communication from a loved in times of crisis. Sometimes the loved one has been dead for many years. Other times the loved one appears at the moment of death to say goodbye. Sometimes the loved one appears with a message of warning or other important information, or even with reassurance that the loved one is safe.

Message Dreams

Sometimes dreamers receive messages that are actually intended to be given to others. Often the message dream is for a relative, friend, coworker or neighbor and can be given right away.

But sometimes it is for an acquaintance one has yet to meet. Then, when the recipient appears, the message is given, and the dream is fulfilled.

Astral Dreams

Astral dreams are said to occur on the inner planes of existence, in the spirit world. They tend to be symbolic, like a bare black stage set with only the most essential props and actors spotlighted. Some people may never have astral dreams. More likely most people simply do not recognize or remember them.

When you have an astral dream, it may be the mind’s way of dramatizing things that you subconsciously know but have been ignoring. Or they may be an indication that someone else is trying to communicate with you in your dreams.

Nightmares

Nightmares can occur in any of the dream forms. Most likely they are a dramatization of your fears, but they can also be the result of actual memories. Such memories may require therapy to make the dreams go away.

Nightmares caused by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can be crippling in their realistic sensations and intensity, and they definitely require professional treatment by a therapist who specializes in PTSD. Dreams can seem very real. They can be horrifying.

The fear of having PTSD dreams can cause people to avoid sleeping (which is dangerous) or to self-medicate with prescription (or nonprescription) drugs or alcohol. Doing that can also be dangerous.

Diagnostic Dreams

The body always knows when we are ill or hurt, but we may consciously ignore it, especially if there is no pain. Many people have dreams that tell them of serious undiagnosed problems such as cancer. Those who pay attention to their dreams and know how to interpret the images from their subconscious are warned.

Many a dream has caused someone to get a checkup that saved their life by resulting in early treatment of what could have been a fatal disease or condition.   

Healing Dreams

Occasionally people who are very ill have dreams that seem to bring healing. Is the dream healing in and of itself? Or is the dream announcing the healing? No one knows for sure.

Problem-Solving Dreams

As we have discussed before, problem-solving dreams can occur at any point in sleep or just before or after it. The solution can be literal and complete, or it can be symbolic, or just a hint.

Lucid Dreams

Lucid dreams are rare. They are dreams in which the dreamer becomes aware that he or she is dreaming and takes control of the dream. That last part is the most important. Dreams in which one simply becomes aware of being in a dream and wakes up or goes into a different dream are called prelucid dreams.

Many people have prelucid dreams. Few learn to gain control of them and turn them into lucid dreams. 

Lucid dreaming is a form of meditation for adepts of some spiritual belief systems. In those spiritual systems, people may study and practice for years to achieve it.

Yet in some cultures people have been trained from babyhood to take control of their dreams, and in those cultures virtually everyone can do it. 

Shaman Dreams

In some cultures shamans, or those with the potential to become shamans, are identified by the special dreams they have, dreams that contain specific imagery that only shamans see.

Shamans in many cultures do much of their work, including finding out information or finding cures for diseases or injuries, in lucid dreams or active dreaming.  

Mixed Dreams

Most dreams seem to be a mixture. Parts of a dream may be processing the day’s events, while other parts contain messages. Dreaming is complex. Dreams can and often do have several layers of meaning. 

Other Types of Dreams

Probably there are other kinds of dreams, but these definitions should be enough for discussion purposes and to help identify dreams for yourself and others. Talking about your dreams and working with others on their dreams is worthwhile. It can also be fun. And to me the ability to get and share information from dreams is a blessing.
