Easy Lucid Dream Techniques

If you are looking for easy lucid dream techniques you probably have had trouble grasping previous dream techniques. In this article I will explain two types of lucid dreaming techniques and why they work so you can have a better idea of what might work for you.

Reality Checks. The type of dreaming which uses reality checks is the most trained form of dreaming. It can take a long time for reality checks to start to take effect. What is a reality check you may be asking your self. Well a reality check is when you train your mind throughout the day to do simple things to check and and see if you are dreaming. You may perfectly well know that you are not dreaming but by doing these things you are training your mind to do this behavior while you are dreaming. When done over a period of time you can start to gain consciousness while you are dreaming so that lucid dreaming may take effect. Some reality checks are:

  • Jumping
  • Pinching yourself
  • Observing your body
  • Turning on and off lights

The other form of lucid dreaming uses a technique called a WILD or wake induced lucid dream. These types of dreams are much easier for people who are newer to the dream world to accomplish. Simply by waking your self up before REM (about 5 hours into sleep) you can gain some consciousness before entering a dream state. If this consciousness is held on to lucid dreaming becomes a lot easier.
