Lucid Dreaming Techniques

Lucid dreaming techniques are ways of dream control that use the conscious waking mind to control the subconscious dream state. There are a lot of reasons why people use lucid dreaming techniques, some want to control their dream so they can experience ecstatic bliss while some want to find solutions against life’s problems.

Learning to control these dreams may take a lot of effort, but it would surely gain understanding of your dream life. Check out the following lucid dreaming techniques to would help you alter, control and increase your level of awareness while in a dream state.

The first lucid dreaming techniques require you to pay close attention to how you sleep. You need to track your personal sleep schedule so you can learn when the best time to have a lucid dream. You should keep a journal by your bedside so you can write down your dreams the moment you wake up. Keep note of the time you woke up from a dream compared to the time you just went to sleep.

When you enter the Rapid Eye Movement stage of your sleep, that is when lucid dreaming occurs. One good lucid dreaming technique to remember your dream is to wake up earlier than normal, stay conscious for about an hour then go back to bed and sleep again. The brain would immediately go into REM and you would have a semblance of control over your dream.

Some researchers consider the Mnemonic Induced Lucid Dreaming Technique as one of the most effective lucid dreaming technique. It s deciding that you will be lucid during your next dream. Once the person gets to bed, the mind will be conscious and concentrate on remembering a previous dream. By constantly repeating in your head that ???I will remember this dream???¡ì?¨¨ over and over, it would direct the brain to pay close attention to the next dream. When you start dreaming, you will know that you are in a dream state.

By remembering all the details, you will be more conscious of your dreams. By remembering all the details, then you can master this lucid dreaming technique, performing reality checks. This is to train your mind to check if you are awake in a conscious state so you can perform this task in the dream state.
