No More Deadline Disaster Nightmares?

June 16, 2013 on 1:12 am | In Nightmares | No Comments

Do you ever have dreams about trying to complete a project on a tight deadline, and having every possible thing go wrong with the project? I have had lots of them. You wake up feeling as though you worked all night instead of sleeping.

Sometimes waking life is like that, too, especially with important freelance work projects, school assignments, even volunteer work where people are depending on you.

One of the classic pitfalls in tight-deadline projects that have to be printed and turned in physically is running out of printer ink. We all know we should always have a full set of new ink cartridges on hand at all times, because you never know when they’ll run out.

Name brand printer manufacturers make most of their money on their very expensive cartridges. And there is always something else we need to buy instead. Sometimes, at as much as $60 to $100 for a full set of name brand inkjet cartridges, we just haven’t got the cash.

So we run out. Usually late at night or on a Sunday, when there is no place to get a cartridge. And the deadline is Monday morning.

So how about this: recycled (affordable) ink cartridges and laser toner? You can save time by ordering on line. And because the price is right, you can afford to keep a new set of printer ink cartridges on hand at all times to prevent those deadline disasters.

Maybe you’ll sleep better, too, without those nightmares about deadline disasters. I know I do.

Running out of ink when you need it most should be the least of your worries. And now it can be.
